The first step is to submit a contact form or give us a call so that we can gather more information regarding your training goals. At this time, we can schedule a 60 minute in person consultation. During your consultation, if it is decided that your dog is a good fit for one of our programs, we can go ahead and schedule!
All dogs must be up to date on the following before beginning our training programs:
Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella
Negative intestinal parasite screening within the last year
Flea & tick preventive
The total cost of your dog's program is due at the time of scheduling your program. We do have financing options available on our payments page.
Your dog will live in your trainer's home and sleep in their own crate at night. No big warehouse facility for us!
We schedule sessions during your dog's boot camp program when we are ready to show you what your dog has learned! This is about 2 weeks in for obedience and easier issues, but may be a little later for behavior modification programs. Don't worry, you'll receive plenty of updates during your dog's stay with us.
We are here to support you beyond your Boot Camp program for 2 months. Continued support is automatically included at no extra charge. Follow up appointments are to be scheduled via email or phone call, be it in person, a phone call, or a FaceTime/ Zoom call.
Most sessions are done at our training studio. Some training goals may require sessions in your home or a public location.
We ask that owner's are able to commit to 2-3 15 minute lessons per day in between lessons. These lessons can be spaced apart every week or every other week. Private lessons are available for 6 months from the start of your program.
We only need a leash, collar(s), muzzle if necessary, food, medications, and treats/ bones if you would like to send them. We have everything else!
All communication is done via email at ryan@balancedcanineacademy or by giving us a call. No news is good news from the trainer. We will reach out with updates, questions, and concerns!
We include lessons for up to 6 months, but your program should be completed much sooner. We know life doesn't always go as planned, so we give you extra time in case you need it.
